Will Morris is licensed in California and Texas; he is a member of the American Herbalist Guild; and he is certified in oriental medicine by the Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. With a dual doctorate, Morris has a Ph.D. focused on the area of Chinese pulse diagnosis. His Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine was a clinical specialty in pain management.
Morris is an internationally renowned expert on Chinese pulse diagnosis. His book on the subject was scheduled for release from China Medical Publishing House in fall 2010. He was awarded Acupuncturist of the Year in 2008 by the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Practicing Chinese medicine since 1980, Morris has published more than 50 articles. He has also served on the editorial boards for the American Acupuncturist, the Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science
and the Journal of Transformative Studies, and he provides pre-publication assessment services for the medical publisher, Elsevier.
Morris’ clinical specialty is in the area of pain management from a biopsychosocial point of view. He also has experience treating allergies, autoimmune disorders, depression, anxiety and dermatological conditions. He has taught and published on all of these topics in national and international forums, and he has been at AOMA since 2005.
