The 2011 supercharged Range Rover is the best of all worlds when it comes to performance, comfort and functionality. Weighing in at nearly 6,000 pounds, this SUV’s price tag is set at just over $100,000.
Designers added some much-needed curves to the Rover’s otherwise traditional square body. They are most noticeable in the hood creases and slightly flared fenders that wrap around 20-inch 10-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.
This year, there are upgraded headlamps and a set of LED tail lamps that increase intensity at night.
The 2011 Range Rover is powered by a supercharged 5.0 V-8 that provides you with 510 horsepower and 461 foot pounds of torque. Talking about get-up-and-go, this SUV runs from 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. That’s impressive for a vehicle of this weight.
Inside, there is plenty of room and beautifully finished leather seats and dash. The instrument panel is high-tech, equipped with a new 12.3-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) screen. These digital gauges are easy to see during the day or night, and also feature a menu to adjust a variety of your vehicle settings.
You can even raise and lower your Rover’s ride height from rock crawling to standard road conditions.
This ride has a long list of talents to offer. It all depends on your needs and your pocketbook.
