With the introduction of this service, St. David’s HealthCare has become the first hospital system in Texas to utilize this interactive technology that empowers consumers by providing information on thousands of symptoms, diseases and medical procedures, and connects these conditions through GPS technology to local sources of expert medical care, including emergency departments, physician offices and urgent-care clinics.
