It is time again to start gettingyour junior golfer ready for agreat 2009 golf year! The juniorplayer has many options tochoose from when decidingwhich tournaments to play in andwhere to go for excellent juniorcamps and private lessons.
Once again in 2009, theSouthern Texas PGA is holdingseveral area tournaments thatare second to none. Last year theSan Antonio area tour showedtremendous growth in our juniorgolf programs. The local SanAntonio Southern Texas PGAtournaments take place duringthe summer months. Many ofthe best area golf courses in andaround San Antonio play host tothe tournament, including TheDominion, The Club at Sonterra,Fair Oaks Country Club, TheBandit, Canyon Springs, LaCantera, The Quarry, Woodlakeand others. In addition to the2009 summer tour there areseveral winter tournaments onthe schedule that run throughMay 2009 to prepare you forthe summer tour. The STPGAtournaments showcase the bestarea junior players and is a greatway for your child to learn how tocompete against other juniors onquality golf courses.
The Joe Caruso Golf Academyin San Antonio will once againhelp with running the SouthernTexas PGA tournaments forthe Junior Tour and the LittleLinkster’s Tour. The CarusoGolf Academy will offer manytournament qualifying juniorcamps for your child and willhelp with placement into theirqualifying divisions.
