“Wow, I could really live here.” The thought has crossedour minds at one point or another when we stay ata nice hotel or resort, hasn’t it? My apartment, one of 64 beautiful units, was breathtakingin every aspect. The fully furnished unit had two spaciousrooms, two immaculate bathrooms, a modern kitchen, plentyof closet space, a great living room with custom–made furniture,and wall to wall windows. Did I mention the spectacularview? The 24th floor apartment overlooked the entire downtownarea and had a great view of their newly remodeled poolarea (more on that later).

Heck, they’ll do the dishesfor you if you let them.

Imagine sipping on freshmademojitos, your feet dipped in blue–crystal water, while anattendant brings you a cool towel to soothe your sun–kissedface. No, you’re not at some Mexican beach resort. This is thethird floor at the Four Seasons Hotel. It’s downtown Houston’sonly outdoor resort–style pool deck, and it’s just secondsaway from your room. Speaking of the pool, there’s not muchI can say without sounding like a spokesperson for the FourSeasons chain. Stylish, modern, chic, spectacular, pure relaxation,there aren’t enough words to describe the tremendousjob they did with the outdoor space.
D owntown high–rise living is quickly becoming a growingtrend for every walk of life around the country. From highprofilebusinessmen to families needing a transitional place tostay while they look for a home, Houston’s Four Seasons Placeis attracting them all. One and two bedroom floor plans areavailable and leases can be as short as one month. The bestpart for me was the central location to everything downtownand how close the property is to the beautiful city park whereyou can walk, run, eat, and entertain the kids.
