How do you stay at the top of your game?
“It’s pretty clear,” says Lynda Kohler, president of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) – the leader in supporting the achievements of women in this competitive industry. “You have to know what the current marketplace opportunities are and how to capitalize on them at the right moment.”
Nobody said it was easy.
But CREW seeks to take some of the mystery out of it each year at its annual CREW Forum. Now in its 19th year, the forum has as its key focus to help its members develop business and leadership skills, and to stay on top of industry research, opportunities for educational outreach and, of course, networking.
Real estate professionals are experts at networking. With some 400 attendees at the CREW Forum each year, connections are made and deals get done.
The year’s event will be held April 3, 2012, at the JW Marriot Resort in San Antonio from 10:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
“People do business with people they know and trust,” says Cheryl Pyle, chairman of the 2012 CREW Forum. “That’s one of the benefits of attending the forum. But I’ve also found that I benefit greatly from hearing our experts’ insight firsthand, gaining a deeper understanding of the message behind the statistics and numbers.”
Key questions and topics drive the panel discussion for this year’s forum.
Where are the new growth areas in San Antonio? How will Eagle Ford Shale impact our development and economy? What determines a good real estate investment in today’s market? Is this a good time for new brokers to enter the market? And how is energy sustainability changing the San Antonio real estate market with regards to development and transportation?

It doesn’t really matter what kinds of questions you have if the answers aren’t any good. With this in mind, the CREW Forum lineup this year is truly stellar, featuring a diverse group of speakers focusing on corporate perspectives, the local economy and the national outlook and brokerage trends.
