Dianna M. Burns–Banks, MD, specializes in pediatric medicine and is founder and co–owner of the South Texas Center for Pediatric Care, which includes five pediatric clinics throughout the San Antonio area. She is a natural–born leader, and in 2006 was the second female to serve as the head of the historical Bexar County Medical Society
Dr. Burns–Banks and her partner, Dr. Linda Holley, are dedicated to providing the best pediatric care possible to their patients while maintaining preventative services and education.
As a dedicated doctor, she continually works to address issues that face San Antonio's healthcare system. She believes that the enormous lack of routine medical attention in a country that is so wealthy is an issue, and she encourages people to educate themselves and their children, to regularly receive annual check–ups, exercise and eat a healthy diet. These simple steps will help prevent such diseases as type 2 diabetes, which frequently afflicts children of San Antonio and the nation. With emphasis on family and relationships Dr. Burns–Banks will persist to make changes in her community through her sincere passion for pediatric practice.
