Aracely Ferrer,, MD, FAAP, is a board–certified pediatrician serving the San Antoniomedical community with Caring for Kids Pediatrics, a medical practice dedicated toproviding state of the art medical care. Caring for Kids Pediatrics will open on Octover 1, 2008.

A native of New York, Dr. Ferrer completed her undergraduate education at the Universityof Puerto Rico. She attended Texas A&M College of Medicine and obtained her MD Degree in 2000.She completed her residency program at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2003. She has been in practice for fiveyears in San Antonio and is starting Caring for Kids Pediatrics with her partner,Dr. David M. Castro. Both physicians are bilingual. For the past two years, Dr. Ferrerhas also been Section Chief of General Pediatrics on the Medicine Committee atCHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children's Hospital.

Dr. Ferrer is married – the proud mother of two children and two grandchildren. Hergreatist mission is caring for the children of San Antonio ... as the Caring for Kidsmotto says, "That's what we do."
