Salon D was conceived from tragedy. D nevertheless stands for Dustin. Dustin was a young man full of life and spirit who lived each day till its last. Sadly, this all came to be a reality his mother, father and sister never thought they would face so soon. Twenty-six year-old Dustin Knoblauch passed away in an unfortunate car accident last March. But this story is not about this tragedy. It is what blossomed from tragedy, and blossomed it did. Now, with a newly formed business, great plans and hopes for the future, his family does not want the memory and spirit of Dustin to ever fade. "It is fortunate for the salon's conception and then again, unfortunate what happened to my son, but this salon is our way of honoring him in spirit and in life", says Julie Knoblauch on her salons inception.

Salon D is one of the unique beauty suites housed in the special concept of the Oasis Salon Suites and Spa located at Huebner Road at Loop 1604, behind the delectable Wildfish Restaurant.  The Oasis Salon has over 40 independent hair and beauty specialists offering an array of services in a relaxing environment. Salon D, run by mother and daughter team, Julie and Ashley Knoblauch, offer Endermologie body contouring treatments, VersaSpa and InfinitySun sunless tanning treatments and soon-to-be hair services.
